BAPTISM!!!!!!!!!

WOOOOOOOOOOÔOOOOOOOOÓOOOOOOOÖOO0OOOO!!!!!!I!!i!!

Sister Lee got baptized!!

So that was in Sheung Shui, and I am now serving in West Point. those two are on OPPOSITE SIDES OF HONG KONG. North East to South West. The only father combination would be North West to South East. And because baptisms happen on Sunday, I still had to go to church in West Point. all of that means that after taking the subway, bus, mini bus, and running, I missed the actual ordinance of baptism by less than 60 seconds. BUT the more important part was just being able to show her my support. I cried. More than once.

One of the times was just when everyone there sang a hymn to use up time while Lee Yin was getting changed.  Everyone sang so loud, and so joyfully, and so wonderfully off-key. I don't know, I just think that there is something magical about a group of people who know they aren't good singers, but who really don't care. And they all sing loudly together, and there are always a few people always changing keys, but all together it is just magical. Especially, when It's a a hymn.

But I digress.

I'm running out of time, so long story short, the baptism was magic. My camera ran out of battery, but members sent pics to my parents who might eventually post them to the blog (sorry other missionaries who just get the email, I love you too)

ALSO BIG NEWS!! I picked up my trainee! She's waiting for a visa to go serve in the Hawaii Visitors Center. She's amazing! No pictures this week (my camera ran out of battery, remember?) but she's awesome. SHe's a HongKonger aka. A Hong Kong person. We have an evil master plan so that by the end of our 3 months together, my chinese and her english will be perfect. Part of that means learning all of the weird words (microwave, rotor, Totoro, Hufflepuff). Yes. I am so excited.

Out of time again, but I love you all!!!
