I AM TRAINING!!!!
Wow. That was a serious plot twist.
I am SOOO EXCITED THOUGH!! Also, with this new change from 9 to 6 weeks transfers, I have enough time that I could train TWO PEOPLE!!!!
I've only been in West Point for 6 weeks, and now I'm training here, which doesn't normally happen in Hong Kong these days, but maybe things are starting to change. So what this means is that Thursday I'll go up to the mission home office, drop off Sister Percival with Sister Shiffert (sorry Sister Shiffert, I don't know how to spell your name) and pick up a greenie! Straight from the MTC!! Then for the next 12 weeks I have to try and teach her everything she needs to know about missionary work, so that for the rest of the mission they can teach themselves all the bonus stuff. I am a little stressed about having to be a 24/7 example, but also it's what I should be doing always.
Let's see, what else happened this week.....
We had a return missionary who served in West Point ~2 years ago come back! It was so cool! The Relief Society was so excited to see her, that they threw an impromptu potluck, that had a HUGE turnout. Basically, anyone that had ever shook her hand came. It was amazing!
We were going to sing a hymn to start studies, I leaned back a little bit, and there was a GIANT crack. My chair broke. BADLY! If you look closely, you can see that the chair has COMPLETELY detached from the base. #MyMostDangerousMomentInHongKong
We took a selfie in an elevator, because sometimes that is the ONLY down time you have all day. #PerfectDay #SisMissLife
Next week will bring LOTS of pics with my new trainee.
Love
